About the Event

Tournament Week begins on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 with the Amateur Qualifier. Any woman amateur golfer with an established USGA Index of 5.0 or less is eligible to compete, and the 2 lowest scores will compete with the field of 142 professionals starting on Friday. Click here for more details.

Wednesday, May 28 is Practice Day for the 142 professionals and 2 amateurs, as they tune up for the Aurora Health Care Championship.

Wednesday afternoon, some of the professionals will conduct clinics. More information on these Clinics can be found by clicking here.

Following the Clinics, the “Stars Pairings Party” will take place. Invitations to this exclusive event are only extended to participants in the 2 Pro-Am events and player housing hosts. The announcement will be made as to which professional will captain the Pro-Am teams the following day.

On Thursday, May 29 the 2 Pro-Am events take place. What could be more fun and challenging than amateur golfers playing alongside women professional golfers in an 18 hole competition? Click here for more details on the Pro-Ams.

It all gets serious on Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, when 144 players from around the world tee it up in pursuit of a $100,000 purse in the three-day Aurora Health Care Championship.
